Waste types for WtE facility

The types of waste used as fuel to power Renergenc WtE facility is of many kinds comprising of non-toxic Multicipal Waste. “Multicipal Waste” is a term used by the Company to classify types of burnable unsorted or sorted waste fuel suitable for the WTE Facility and comprise of the following: Municipal Solid Waste (Household Waste, Commercial Waste, Institutional Waste, Garden Waste); Industrial Waste; Agricultural Waste; Recycled Waste; Plastic Waste; Tire-Derived Waste (Automobile Tires not mounted on a rim or wheel); Oil Waste; Gas; Coal; Different Biomass; Landfill Waste; Wood Waste and Bark. The waste are first crushed into suitable sized waste fuel for the incineration plant. Unburnable waste or waste that cannot be incinerated must be separated out first, before crushing. In Ghana most waste is not origin-sorted. Sorting of the waste at the plant creates jobs and sorted waste such as metal and glass are recycled.
